IMPORTANT NOTICE  Wet Weather Advisory Dear participants, Based on NEA’s weather forecast, we may encounter wet weather on Sunday. To prepare you for the situation, we’re sharing the timeline for your reference, in the event that changes have to be made to the race on 2 April 2017.

 If you have already reached the event site and its vicinity during the point of announcement, do note that The Float@Marina Bay will be open for you to seek shelter from the rain. Participants coming via the event shuttle service will be alighted at The Float@Marina Bay to seek shelter in the event of wet weather. All updates on the race day will be provided via SMS and Facebook only. Please check back on our Facebook page frequently in case the SMS is not able to reach some of you. Meanwhile, do take care and train well, as we look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
 Second Race Entry Pack Collection Travelling from overseas for the race or missed the first race entry pack collection? Fret not, you can still pick up your race packs from the second collection: Date: 31 March - 1 April 2017 (Fri - Sat) Time: 11am - 7pm Venue: Key Power Sports @Novena #02-48 Velocity @Novena Square 238 Thomson Road Singapore 307683 Collection on the Event Day will start from 3am at the Information Counter beside Baggage Deposit. Participants are required to collect in person at least 1 hour before their respective flag off time. SPECIAL POLO TEE Registrations on and after 15 March 2017 will NOT include the 2XU Compression Run 2017 Special Polo Tee. Participants who have registered before that will still be entitled to the Polo Tee. Registration will close on 20 March 2017 or once all slots have been taken up. Registrations made on and after 15 March 2017 are non-refundable and non-transferable, if the registrant is not able to attend the event for any reason. Please proceed only if you are able to accept the above terms.

TRAINING TIPS BY TIGER BALM ACTIVE 1. Eat Right Eating the right kinds of food leading up to race day will aid your performance on the event day. It is also important to stay away from unhealthy options like fast food, junk food or fried foods. Remember not to run on an empty stomach - it is important to get your blood sugar level up and take in sufficient calories to ensure optimal performance. 2. Get a good night’s sleep Ideally you should get a few good night’s rest before race day. Skip the late night parties and movies with friends for some extra hours of sleep. This will mean a huge difference on D-Day. 3. Prepare Physically Just as what you eat is important, so is keeping your muscles free from strain and injury. Do proper warm-ups and cool-downs to reduce incidence of muscle tension. Safety First When out training for the 2XU Run, make eye contact with drivers whenever possible. "Personal connection” reminds drivers that you need attention and protection. ABOUT RACE
RACE ENTRY PACK COLLECTION Date: 24-26 March 2017, Fri - Sun Time: 11AM - 8PM on Friday, 11AM - 7PM on Sat and Sun Venue: Marina Square (Central Atrium) It is mandatory for all participants to collect their Race Entry Packs within the dates stated above. Participants will need to bring along a photo ID (NRIC/ FIN/ Driver's License/ Passport) for the collection of Race Entry Packs. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participants without the required documents from collecting their entry packs. FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO COLLECT IN PERSON If you are unable to collect your race entry pack personally during the assigned collection days, you may authorize someone to collect it for you. Your representative will need to produce the following documents in order to collect on your behalf: • A copy of the runner's identification card and confirmation slip for verification • Your representative’s identification card for recording purposes No authorization form is required. Your representative’s particulars will be taken down for record purposes. FOR FOREIGN PARTICIPANTS Travelling from overseas for the race? We recommend that you authorize someone to collect it for you at the stipulated dates above. Otherwise, separate collection arrangements will be made for you. More details will be released closer to the event date
